you can use these! i'd be an asshole if i told you no.
the only thing i want in exchange is credit, i worked really hard to make them.
Did you know that these were the last assets made for this proyect? It was an afterthought, but something important to mantain consistency on my website hehe
I spent a lotta time trying to make it make sense, like three-dimentionally.
it kiiiinda does?
and even if doesn't, it's still a cool hover effect heh
You can also have the colored versions, if you like.
small as hell. computer, enhance
much better
pixel art is HARD !!!!!
i was fighting for my life trying to convey a rombus in two pixels
i'm glad i ended up with a nice result in the end. does it mean i'm... getting better at it?!?!?!!? nice
(side note i find it really funny that i had to open MS Paint and use the shapes tool to understand how to draw a tiny rombus
Shaplin HERSELF helped in the making of this shrine /j)
the background is tileable, as you could already tell...!
have the individual face transparents. cuz you're epic
i used the default brush only. im unreasonably proud of that fact.
...and i'm unreasonably sad that I didn't use this one?!?!? it's like. THE shaplin face. you get me????
custom cursor :3
has a white outline that you can't... really see... in a white background...
trust me bro (gender neutral) it has the outline ok
it also shrinks in-browser because it's a bit bigger than the actual cursor size, but it doesn't look bad, so i kept it.
get trashed, idiot !!!!! /aff
and the actual image...
she looks. with her eyes i think
i made this one because i'm. not an idiot but a forgetful. individual.
why?
i wanted to make the music text file, but only then realized that actual text files have a different icon than notepad.
notepad is where you edit and create text...
.txt is a file that already has text that you can open and edit in notepad.
i realized when I was about to put in on the page sobs ASJSAJHJSAKJ
on the bright side, I now have a cute notepad icon to go with my planned windows 7 shell. yippee
I used the same sketch for the actual icon because i like it + why would i make things harder for myself for no reason?
plus you can see it a lil better. good!!!
i don't actually use chrome nowadays (my laptop is a potato. that browser is a ram devourer i tell you) but i remember using it for many, MANY years, including when windows 7 actually had support.
it felt weird to not include it,
plus it made me remember all those .ico edits for files with pngs of your favorite characters !!
nostalgia gets everyone apparently!!!
this one is goofy as hell BWAHHASHJSAHJDG
it exists solely because i said "windows logo BORING"
so i researched what kind of designs were trending around october-november of 2009, 'cause that's when Windows 7 released.
A lot of them were skeuomorphic, which is baaasically making designs resemble their real world counterparts,
Some were frutiger aero, it's VERY present in windows 7 but not always.
(i believe it's *based on* skeuomorphism, but to me it's distinct enough to mention)
I also searched around the actual windows website and stumbled upon THE design guide for icons so that was cool and useful
I ended up giving the icon a vaguely button-like appearance because since i'm not really a designer, i really didn't know how to do anything else. (someday i will create THE poggiest shaplin logo. someday)
Used Photopea, because my laptop would become a weapon of mass destruction if I opened Photoshop, realized Photopea is much better for my needs lol.
